This year’s show, which will take place in November, 2014, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, is available in both its televised 3-hour commercial version (plus a 1-hour red carpet pre-show) as well as a specially edited 2-hour English International version.
Over the years, the Latin GRAMMY Awards has become known for its energetic performances, exceptional productions, and extraordinary, party-like atmosphere…and the 2013 show was certainly no exception. Hosted once again by actress/singer Lucero, the event showcased a non-stop parade of performances by Latin music’s top stars, including Alejandro Sanz, Pitbull with El Cata and Enrique Iglesias, Juanes, Gian Marco, la Banda Carnaval featuring Calibre 50, Miguel Bosé, Laura Pausini, Ricky Martin, Pablo Alborán, Marc Anthony, Jesse & Joy featuring Mario Domm, Natalia Lafourcade, Draco Rosa, Carlos Vives, and Natalie Cole singing “Acercate Más” in a virtual duet with her late father, the great Nat King Cole, projected on a screen behind her.
What’s more, last November’s 14th Latin GRAMMY Awards saw 9.8 million viewers tune in to all or part of the live broadcast on Univision. The highly anticipated event delivered an average audience of 4.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.4 million Adults 18-49, and 1.2 million Adults 18-34, and positioned Univision as the No. 2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 in the U.S., outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX.
The Latin GRAMMY Awards focuses millions of eyes and ears around the world on Latin music, and helps promote the identity and vitality of its many regional forms found across the globe — musical styles that serve as the foundation of Latin music.
